Pool time

It's finally warm enough to pull out the pool!!


Her pool seemed a lot bigger last year, probably because she was only 6 months old. We might have to upgrade this year.

Orem Summer Fest

There were all different vehicles that drove through the parade. This truck kept honking, so Lexi got pretty excited. We didn't get the camera out in time to show her most excited moment, but trust me she was loving the honking truck!

Side walk chalk

We don't have what you would call a kid friendly back yard, it's all cement. But I try to make the best out of what I've got, so Lexi and I got some side walk chalk and drew all over the back yard.


I don't think she's grasped the whole concept of drawing yet. She basically just put the chalk in her mouth or would hit the cement with the chalk, but we had a lot of fun anyway.

Living Planet Aquarium

We took a little trip to the Living Planet Aquarium, it's a small aquarium but entertaining.
They were waiting for the Stingray's to come back around to get a feel.

I'm sure the fish are used to it, but all she wanted to do was bang on the glass.
She was more interested in dipping her hand in the water and putting it in her mouth (yuck) than looking at the stingray's and fish.
She would have jumped in if I'd let her, my little water baby!
This area is pretty fun for little ones. They have fish tanks low to the floor so it was just her size. She was more interested in the fishies than posing for a picture with Mom. Loved running around, they also had little tunnels next to the fish tanks for kids to run through.
